Obituary of Jocelyn Elsie Beard
Forever Missed, Never Forgotten...
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jocelyn Beard, in her 83rd year. Loving wife of Geoffrey, beloved mother to Jeanette (Don), Paul (Shelley). Proud grandmother of Amanda (Nick), Whitney (Marc), Jessica, Dawn, Kaitlin, Ashley, Chelsea, Maxwell, Sydney. 25 year devoted service to Participation House. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital, as well as the homecare team. Donations to Alzheimer’s Society are appreciated. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 from 7-9 p.m at Dixon Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North, Markham. A Memorial Service will be held in her memory the following day, October 4th at 1p.m. at Dixon Garland Funeral Home. A private family inurnment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery following service. We encourage anyone attending the funeral to wear something blue in her honour.
