REESOR, Esther (nee Burkholder)

It is with great sadness we said goodbye to Esther on September 3 2022 at the age of 82. Adored wife to Ken for 61 years. Beloved mother to Bonnie (Brian), Laura (Lynn), Terry (Geralde), and Merle (Cathy). Cherished Nana to Michael (Patricia), Stephanie, and Andrew (Emily) Bell, Heather and Emma Drudge, Ryan (Kyra), Christine (Jon) and Jordan (Nina) Barkey, Kenrick, Janien (Isaac), and Mara (Jonathan) Reesor, Natasha (Edward), Caitlin and Emma (Conor) Reesor. Loving Gigi to Ben, Zoey, Macy, Chloe, Spencer, Gabriel, Greyson, Carl, Eleanore, Evelyn, Oliver and Violet. Dear sister to Irene Steiner (Glenn), Sylvia Gallian (Stan), and Howard Burkholder (Myrna).  Esther will be greatly missed by Ken’s siblings as well as many nieces and nephews, and friends. Predeceased by her parents Lorne and Violet Burkholder, brother Harvey and granddaughter Erin.  Family and friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North, Markham Road (Markham) on Monday September 12 from 6-9pm and September 13^th at Rouge Valley Mennonite Church at 1pm with the Celebration of Life at 2:30pm. Burial and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to MEDA (meda.org) or Canadian Foodgrains Bank (foodgrainsbank.ca).
