Obituary of Robin Lydia Walsh

Robin Lydia Walsh (née Becket) F.S.E. 1977

Suddenly and peacefully at home in Stouffville, Monday, August 1, 2022, at the age of 65. Beloved daughter of Joyce Becket Wagner (née Blackburn) and Mel Becket, who died on TCA Flt 810 at Mt. Slesse after playing in the East-West All Star football game in Dec 1956, the month before Robin was born. Her doting stepfather, the late Ralph Wagner, raised her as his own. Devoted partner of the late David Hoover. Cherished sister of Randy Wagner (Karen Ann Reid).

Robin was the Managing Director of O'Neill Funeral Home in Stouffville until 2008. She was an integral part of her community, assuaging the sorrow of the families and loved ones who came to her for support. In her contented retirement she enjoyed close friendships with her friends and neighbors. Robin was constant in her stylish presence, forthright nature and trademark red lipstick.
