NanaD, as Denise used to call herself, was simply the best grandma to Lily. Every day she came at 8 am to look after her little girl and spent hours and hours reading, singing, feeding, playing with Lily and rocking her to sleep. Almost weekly Denise would bring Lily Toys, books, clothes, money, jewelry, and beautiful hair accessories. She could not wait to see Lily with pony tails - she loved her little girl so much. Lily was her everything! Not only was Denise an amazing grandma, she was also my best friend, my companion. She was beautiful, kind, honest and fun to be with. I will treasure all those memories forever. Dear Denise RIP, I miss you so much.
