It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved brother Tiberio on June 13 th , 2022 at Markham-Stouffville Hospital, Markham, Ontario at the age of 77.

Tiberio was born in Sao Miguel, Azores on September 29 th , 1944 to the late Ernesto Tavares Lopes and Maria Isabel Vieira Pimentel. He is survived by his sisters Gabby (Gabriella), Sylvia (Silveria), Judy (Juvenalia) and Annette, brothers-in-law Daniel and Scott and nieces and nephews Nelson, Alina, Bernadette, Rick and Adriana. He is predeceased by his brother-in-law Jaime (Jim) and long-time life partner Christine Scott. We will all miss his ’tough-guy exterior”, kind heart and fierce family loyalty.
