I'd like to acknowledge two ladies, my sisters Karen and Heather, who cared for, comforted and took care of everyone of Moms needs in her final few months. Mom often referred to them as her Angels. Their bond with Mom is unmeasurable and their love for her was infinite. Thank You.
Helga and I became friends in training at Ottawa Civic Hospital nursing school many years ago. This continued all our lives when in retirement we enjoyed get together with our husbands. Helga was a wonderful person in every sense of the word. Her children and grandchildren must know she loved them dearly. I cherish the memories I have of Helga and Stuart.
Helga brought a smile to every event we were lucky enough to be at with her. She genuinely cared about people and made everyone feel special. The gifts she passed on to all, last forever. May all of the wonderful memories you shared, be in your hearts always.

We lost a wonderful role model to many. Grandma left a positive and lasting impression on everyone she met. She always made time to connect and make people feel special and important in whatever they are doing in life. Her energy, outlook and appreciation for life will be greatly missed. So sorry to hear of the loss of a dear friend Helga ! We had many good times together .at book club and New. Beginnings group! We always had interesting talks about everything ! Always an active interesting mind! Enjoyed her visits when she lived almost in my backyard at the Oaks , Sorry to miss her celebration of life! Thoughts and prayers to all !

Helga always welcomed me into their home with open arms and made to feel as though I was one of the family. I’m thankful for having had Helga in my life and for Helga and Stuart allowing me to share in so many of their family gatherings when I was attending University and away from my family. She will be missed by all!

We lost a beautiful and loving soul. Grandma will forever inspire a sense of peace, strength, and kindness as she lives through those who knew her. Grandma would perennial say “thank you for being you”; but, she may not have known how big of a role she had in moulding the people in her life. Thank you for having been you, Grandma.
Helga was a wonderful , positive caring person who injected her love of life in all that she did. She had such pride in her children, her grandchildren and loved her family and friends. She was a wonderful Mother in law and will miss her deeply . RIP Helga❤️❤️
