Obituary of Verna Joan Barranger

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Verna Barranger (nee Moore), peacefully surrounded by family and friends at her Amica residence in Unionville on April 9, 2022 at the age of 84.

Loving wife of the late Gordon Barranger. Beloved mother of Keith (Kim) and Brian (Michele). Sister of Doug Moore, Ruth Collins, Dennis Moore, and Maureen Read. Verna will be especially missed by her grandchildren Eric, Kristine, Ayden, Alexxandra, Elisha, and Tanis and great grandchildren Aimen and Emery as well as her many friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 15, 2022 between 2-4pm and again from 7-9pm. The funeral will be on Saturday April 16, 2022 at 11am. Both will be held at Dixon Garland Funeral Home (166 Main St. North, Markham).
