Obituary of Helen Smith

Smith, Helen (nee Antal)  -  Peacefully walked into eternity  on Friday March 4^th 2022 to join her beloved husband Russell.  Loving mother to Brian R. (late Marilyn), Cindy Thompson (Rob), and the late Glen (Janet).  Dear grandmother of 6 (one deceased), great grandmother of 7, and great-great grandmother of 2.

Born in Wainfleet, Ontario. The family moved to East York in 1945. Where dad’s parents also lived on Lankin Blvd. That is how they meet and both attended East York C.I. Married in 1950, they enjoyed 67 years of married life until dad’s death in 2017.

A private family funeral has been entrusted to Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, Markham.  If desired, a donation to Covenant House or Hill House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
