Obituary of Sean Francis Foley
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day....We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Sean Francis Foley at the age of 47. Sean succumbed to his injuries after he was struck in an accident on Monday February 28th. The family is devastated by this loss and completely unprepared. Sean was born on June 15, 1974 to Frederick & Carolyn Foley in Scarborough, Ontario. Sean attended high school at both St. Roberts in Thornhill, ON and at Brother Rice in St. John’s, NFLD. He worked at McDonalds Restaurants for many years and various other restaurant chains before attending Centennial College and finding his passion in baking and pastry arts. He went on to start his own company, Abby’s Sweet Treats and dedicated his life to building his business. In 2005 Sean met Elizabeth who went on to become his wife in 2007 and they had a beautiful daughter, Abby. Abby meant the world to him and he was unendingly proud of her. She frequently attended markets with him for Abby’s Sweet Treats and worked side by side with him. They were not only father & daughter, but best friends. Beth & Abby meant the world to him and he always worked hard to support them.
Sean was predeceased by his grandparents Patrick & Margaret Foley and Patrick & Kathleen Hannon. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Caramoan, his daughter Abby Caramoan-Foley, his parents Frederick & Carolyn Foley, his siblings Tammy Foley, Melissa Jenkinson (Jamie) & Jessica Menegakis (Michael) and numerous nieces & nephews.
The family requests that all flowers and notes be sent to Dixon Garland Funeral Home at 166 Main Street North in Markham. Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Saturday March 12, 2022 followed by a memorial service at 1:30pm.
