Obituary of Earl Cecil Hancock

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Poppa (Earl) on Saturday January 22, 2022 at the age of 89, predeceased by his loving wife Barbara. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Sue, son-in-law Stephen, granddaughter Kelsey (and her husband Ryan), grandson Ryan (and his girlfriend Christina), great grandson Ryder, great granddaughter Dakota, and beloved pet Daisy. Family and friends will be received at the DIXON/GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street Markham North, Markham on Thursday January 27, 2022 from 9:30am to 10:30am followed by the service at 11am in the chapel. Following the service, those who wish may proceed to Prospect Cemetery at 1450 St. Clair Ave West, Toronto for the internment. Our family would like to extend a special thank you to Woodhaven’s Buttonville unit for their outstanding care of Poppa. If so desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
