Betty & Families, It is with profound sadness we send our condolences. It was our pleasure to have met and enjoyed your company on many occasions at SeaTowers. I ( Geri) always looked forward to our annual January gatherings at the Pool League in the Clubhouse. Just arriving back from Newfoundland, it was here I looked forward to my hug from Ron & his encouragement to have me play in the League. Ron & I are forever grateful for his organization and emails which had us enjoying Theatre among other activities for years. All we had to do was pay and show up! Every other detail was calculated and administered by Ron. Forever grateful. And we, so enriched by the beauty of you & Ron’s friendship. May pleasant memories comfort you as you grieve Ron’s loss and journey forward. Hugs Geri & Ron

I have so many fond memories of Ron! Golfing with him at Spring Lakes, Ballantrae, in Florida, and Owls Head in Quebec. Playing Snooker in matches between Ballantrae and Swan Lake.
My favourite memory is the kindness Ron showed to me after the death of my wife. He called to invite me to join him at Sea Towers in Florida in December. I declined until he called again and said to get the heck down there and do not delay. I did it!
A fine gentleman and I will miss him, along with others.

Dear Betty:
We were so saddened to hear the news of Ron’s passing. Please accept our deepest sympathies.
We have such fond memories going all the way back to our days together at Imperial Tobacco. Then when Tom & Terry organized a surprise meeting with you both after so many years it was truly great to renew our friendship. He was such a charismatic person with a great sense of humour and fun to be around.
We hope and pray that you will all be given strength and fortitude to sustain you now and in the future when Ron will be missed so much by you, family and friends.
Love Edna & Rollie

Ron and Betty were snowbirds like me and shared a little piece of paradise called SeaTowers every winter. Fond memories of golf parties at the beach house, his booming voice when we would run into each other at the Heritage House and his friendly demeanor are my memories of this “gentle”man! Hugs Betty and family. Ruth Morelli ❤️

Betty and family,
Ron was one of the most fun-loving, kind and generous people we have ever known. He and Betty were our first friends when we retired to Sea Towers. My favourite story about Ron is from our group golf lessons. The pro was trying to get him to slow down his backswing. After he left Ron to work on it for a couple of minutes, he came back and stood behind Ron. When Ron did his next swing the pro fell over backwards to show Ron that the rush of air from his backswing was still too fast. Ron, as usual, ended up laughing with the rest of us.
His gift of chocolate cakes for my birthday will never be forgotten.
We will continue to think kindly of him often. He was a great friend.
love and hugs
