Obituary of Bruno Pointner

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bruno Pointner on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the age of 92.

Loving husband of the late Ivy Pointner.  Beloved father to his son Karl and his wife Mary, and to his daughter Virginia and her husband Cliff. Proud grandfather of Daniella (Matthew), and Robert, Amy (Craig), Aaron, and Brett, Andrew, Megan and Lesley (Charles).  Proud great grandfather to Arianna and William, Sierra and Jordan, Daniel (Kaitlyn), Allison (Chris), Peyton and Coley. Great-great grandfather to Tanner, Carson, and Bennett.

He loved life, his family and his generosity to others had no limits. Bruno had many ventures in his journey of life and was very proud of his heritage and home Country of Austria. Bruno had a passion for travelling and gardening.

Bruno truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and had an uncanny ability to see life in the most positive way.

His memory will be cherished and kept alive forever.

Family and friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North, Markham on Monday December 27^th, 2021 visitation 10am to 12 pm, funeral service at 12:00 pm.
