Obituary of Peter Titanic

TITANIC, Peter David - At Markham Stouffville Hospital on January 20, 2014 in his 94th year. Peter, beloved husband of Margaret for 64 years. Loving and proud father of Peter (Belinda) and Paul (Linda). Cherished grandpa of Courtney (Paul), John, David and Kristy. Great grandpa of Aliana. Predeceased by brothers Walter (Elvina), Morris (Teresa), Bill and sister Eileen (Mike). Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Peter was a manager at Leon's Furniture for 25 years. He was also an outstanding athlete, having won 3 Grey Cups with the Toronto Argonauts and having played in the Softball World Championships. Special thanks to Markhaven Home for Seniors and Dr. Currie for their care and kindness. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Sunday, January 26th from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. A private family service will be held. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
