Obituary of Barbara Ruth Johnson
Johnson, Barbara Ruth (nee Emery) at the young age of 67 and after a two-decade hard fought battle with SCA2 the Lord has finally taken Lady Pink into his arms. Beloved wife and companion to Michael for over forty-eight years. Loving and worrisome Mother to son Ryan (Stefanie). Predeceased by her parents John and Bernice and sister Patricia (Brian), and loving sister to Donna (Leonard).
Barb will also be dearly missed by her loving precious friend and cousin Colleen Fisher (Mike). Barb’s gorgeous smile, sparkling blue eyes, compassionate spirit, and charm, will be sorrowfully missed by family and friends, and all the folks who came to love Barb at Woodhaven LTC. To all the nurses, PSW’s, cooks, cleaners in the Unionville wing at Woodhaven LTC, who poured out their love, gentle care, compassion, and respect, we can’t thank you enough.
Barb was best known for love of pink colours, crocheting baby blankets, using Cetaphil products, infectious smile, listening to Bee Gee’s music, being the boss at home and family Christmas dinners. A beautiful life that came to an end, Barb died as she lived, everyone’s friend. Our hearts a memory, will always be kept, one we loved and never forget.
