Obituary of Wai Pun Cheung

With great sadness we announce the passing of Teddy Wai Pun on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Kennedy Lodge at the age of 87.  He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Lau Yong. Proud father of Ernie and his wife Candice, Helen and her husband Tom, and Bill and his wife Dawn.  Proud grandfather of Ryan, Darren and his wife Kemy, Kevin, Michael, Matthew and Holly.  Proud great grandfather of Skylar.  He loved life, Mah Jong, horse racing, but most of all his Family.  

Due to public health restrictions, a maximum of 40 Family and Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street Markham North, Markham on Saturday, October 9 from 11 – 12 PM.  A small private service will be held from noon to 12:30.    At the conclusion of the Service, interment will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery in Toronto.  Any guests interested in joining the procession are asked to congregate in the parking lot at the Funeral home at 12:30.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Kennedy Lodge for their outstanding care of our father.
