Obituary of Dragica Stojanovski
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Dragica Stojanovski. She passed away quietly on the morning of September 15th, 2021
She was born on July 21st, 1934 in Podmocani Prespa and was 87 years old when she died. She was married to Najdo Stojanovski for 57 years before he passed on September 23rd, 2019. She is survived by her four children Blagoja (Helen) and Tony both from Toronto, Rose (Aaron) and Mendo who both live in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and her six grandchildren Perry, Graeme, Sylvie, Nicholas, Emily and Michael.
She was a lovely woman who cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. She loved planting and tending to her vegetable garden and loved to cook Macedonian meals to feed her big family. She loved to knit, sew and work on her needle point. She was always busy with something. She loved her Macedonian culture and music and often had music on while she spent the afternoon knitting.
Moms beautiful soul will never be forgotten. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful sister to her three brothers Jordan, Borko and Zivko who predeceased her. She was a loving aunt to Sojna and Jim plus her other nieces and nephews. She was a loyal and loving friend to many wonderful ladies including her first cousin Ruza from
She will never be forgotten and will live on with our memories and stories. She was the backbone of our family and was greatly loved by all.
