Dear Ralph,
I attended Beck collegiate with Lois and she was also a neighbour in London as we were growing up. We shared many classes in high school and both attended Teachers College together. Our paths crossed frequently as young teachers in London before she left for Toronto. All my memories of Lois are happy as she was a kind and calm natured friend. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and her unfortunate times near the end. Your tribute to her life is lovely and I can feel your immense pain through your words. Please know that she was thought of fondly by many folks throughout her life. God bless you…Sincerely Irene McDonald Pollock

Lois and I both attended Central Baptist Church in London, ON and together, were students at the London Teachers’ College Lois and I were assigned to an elementary school as student teachers and we enjoyed our experience together very much. Lois was an enthusiastic teacher who cared very much for the young children who were in the class. I am saddened to read of her passing but remembering Lois will always bring a smile to my face. To her family, I send my most sincere condolences. God Bless.
Ross Spettigue,
Windsor, ON

Ralph I remember vividly your blind date with Lois. A group of us were going to a Boy Scout fund raiser dance and you asked Lois to go with you. The morning after the dance Lois called me and said how much she enjoyed being with you. She also added that you had brought her a single red rose, which impressed her. It is so hard to believe that 47 years have passed since your wedding.
The two of you were a perfect match. Lois was a terrific gal and will be greatly missed.
I am so sorry for your loss.
