I have many fond memories of Uncle Jack. Our families enjoyed a lot of time together when I was little... there were cousins running everywhere! He and dad sure enjoyed their antics too! We shared time together at the Bartley reunions for many many years. Try as I did, I could never come close to matching Uncle Jack's horseshoes skills, though he taught me all of the (little) skill I managed to pick up.
I remember him as always fun, smiling, and a pillar of strength to the whole Cook clan-a true patriarch.
