Obituary of Bruce Norman Empey

After a long courageous battle with cancer, Bruce passed away peacefully at home with his children by his side on June 26, 2021 at the age of 69. He will be greatly missed by his children Chris, Michelle (Rob), Sharla (Neville), Alanna (Evan), Adam, Sarah (Adrian). Proud grandpa/grampy to Jessica (Nathan), Lauryn, (Mike), Austin, (Sophia), Owen (Frida), Hayden, Kayla, Noah, Leah and Carley. Beloved brother to Bill (Sandra), Terry (Gino), and the late Alan. Bruce will be fondly remembered by his close friend Linda.  Bruce was a simple man, whose family meant everything to him. He loved the outdoors, he was down to earth with a unique sense of humour, a friend to many, and incredibly strong. A private family service will take place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
