Mrs Woodside was my dance mom. My mom away from my mom. She was there to support, encourage me, give me a hug, protect me and kick me in the butt. Although we met Judy very briefly when Glee first joined Elite a couple years ago. We will never forget her warm greeting when we step foot into the studio. She was very kind and helpful; we could tell she really cared about all the children. It is with sadness to hear about her passing. I have so much love for this woman. She was such a support to myself and my dancer daughter Hanna when we had struggles. I have so many memories of conversations the two of us shared at the studio. I really opened up to her numerous times, and she gave me encouragement to do what I needed to do and not to take **** from anyone along the way. When I was really upset she even phoned me from her home a couple times to check on me. I will always admire Judy’s strength and authenticity. I will never hear, “same **** different day” without seeing her smiling face.
I would like to send condolences and love to Judy’s family. What a woman! Love her always.
