Obituary of Douglas George Barnes

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Douglas (Doug) Barnes after a brief battle with Prostate Cancer.  He passed peacefully surrounded by his family.  He is survived by his beloved wife Mary of 67 years, cherished father of sons Richard, Trevor (Kelly), and Christopher (Lesley).

Proud Grandad to Andrew, Shelby, Tara and Jack. Great Grandad to Wyatt.

He had a fulfilling 38 year career in the Electrical Utility Vehicle and Equipment Manufacturing and Maintenance Industry, in British Columbia and Ontario.

During this time he forged many strong long term relationships.

He enjoyed 26 years of retirement full of travel and time spent with his family.

He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
