Norma Ruth Smale

Peacefully at Sunrise of Unionville on Thursday February 25, 2021 at 92 years of age.  Beloved wife of Leslie Smale (deceased).  Loving mother of Ron Smale (Cheryl), Nancy Storry Deans and Valerie Chatland.  Grandmother of Sean (Tiffany) Chatland, Sarah (James) Bateman, Jono Storry Deans, Lindsay (Sean) Forhan, Elizabeth and Lauren Smale.  Great grandmother of Blake and Taylor Chatland and Charlotte Forhan.  

A woman who gave a devotional life of service, performed with thanksgiving and joy, to her family and her church.  May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and care managers of Sunrise of Unionville for their love and care. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation of Canada.

A private funeral service will be livestreamed from Grace Church Markham on Saturday February 27 at noon.
