Obituary of Emmanuel Lintag

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dearest Emmanuel (Boy) Lintag at the Markham Stouffville Hospital on February 24, 2021. He will be greatly missed by his wife Mercedes (Mercy) and his sons, Brian and Kevin. 

Emmanuel’s greatest joys came from spending time with his family. He spoke lovingly about his family. He loved playing basketball with his boys and anyone who was up for a game. He always had a smile on his face and talked fondly about cars and the NBA, especially the Toronto Raptors. Emmanuel extended his helping hand to others with no limitations.

Most of all, he found enjoyment in the simplest of things. When he was diagnosed with cancer, he faced it with courage and strength and cherished the time that remained by spending it with his family.  We will all remember his amazing smile and sweet tooth.

A huge thank you to the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital/SRT and the extraordinary care he received from the staff. A private funeral service for immediate family will be held at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home on Friday, February 26 at 5 p.m.
