I really love this photo of Aunt Maureen. I actually remember her in that dress because she looked especially pretty in it. I always remember her kindness toward me when I was a child. We had some tensions in our home and I admired how sweet she was with her children. I don’t think Aunt Maureen ever forgot about the separation from her mother, Agnes, as a young child. She also gave me a cross, which I subsequently but remembered this because around the age of forty, I was baptized in the Anglican Church where I felt peace and purpose for my life ever since. Rest In Peace, Aunt Maureen.
