God’s Garden
God looked around his garden and found an empty space.
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering.
He knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult.
He closed your tired eyes.
He whispered to you Peace be Thine and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping, so calm and free of pain.
We would not wish you back on earth to suffer once again.
You’ve left us precious memories, your love will be our guide.
You live on through your children you’re always by our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.

Our deepest condolences to Pat and Cathy’s entire family. Cathy did the books for our Tim Hortons. She came to us in a time of great need and jumped in feet first to get up to speed. We trusted her from day one because she immediately made us feel comfortable and confident in her skills and personality. She was just the sweetest, warmest, person and we loved having her on our team. She will be deeply missed.

To Gill and Scot
Your Father Jimmy ROBERTS was the best friend I ever had, I loved him like a brother. I noticed your MOM one of my closets friends did not mention his name. So sad, BUT I will. He was a very big part of my life. He had a very great sense of humor always so kind and caring in my life. Many great car rides in his battered up vehicles and so much fun. We used to play puditelly which means if you saw a car with one headlight you would say puditelly. Allows fun. We once went for a drive and broke down... now what are we going to. We could not walk home, I Called my Dad and told him I was in trouble and could not get home, he said where our you, can not remember now. He came and picked us up and paid for your Dad's car to be towed back home. Your Dad was very thankful for his help. We arrived at my home and my Dad asked your father would you like a beer, of course your Dad was under age, but my Dad knew they lived on Belsize and we lived on Millwood one street away 2 minute walk away. Memories of your Dad will always be in my heart. He was a one of a kind and I will always love him and miss him because he was my best friend. Hold that in your hearts forever, please because he will always be YOUR DAD. Love and take care. I met you both when you were young, so you will not remember me. Always be proud of your name ROBERTS!!!

To My Dearest Friend Cathy, to everyone in your precious family my sincere condolences. I never met Pat but I'm sure he was a very lucky man to have met you. Cathy and I go back when we were in public school, and high school. Many fondest memories was meeting her at her Moms' place on Belsize road to walk to school together. Going to high school was SO different, as Cathy would say go to the nurses office and say you are not feeling well. (make sure you put a penny under your tongue so your temperature rises, then take it out before you go in) Me WHAT, just do it Karen. It worked every time. So off we go and back to her place to play 45's on her record player, horrible sound, but it was music. Play cards I always lost, oh yes she was so smart very good at math, well I was still counting under the table with my fingers. She would say Karen you only have to add it up till you get close to 21. OK. I had a lot of sleepovers and we would sneak out, don't tell us why, what are we going to do at 1 in the morning.. we would just walk around for the adventure and her mother never caught us. She had a smile that would melt you and I always gave in. I am going to dearly miss her with all my heart and soul. She was a great friend and I am so blessed that our paths crossed. Sixty years a long time, but I am selfish and hoped it could have been longer. Not a day will go by that I will forget her, she was a very loving, caring Friend.
I am happy that she will no longer suffer or not in pain anymore. She fought a hard battle and never gave up. REST IN PEACE CATHY you will never be forgotten.

My dearest friend Cathy
My heart is broken by your leaving. You taught me so many things...mostly how to live life with gusto and appreciation. Now in the Arms of the Angels and watching over me, I will cherish every memory you gave me. I was blessed to have you in my life and to be able to call you friend. Your courage and strength will always be an example to those that knew you. Rest now for your trails are over. Love Karen
