I was shocked and saddened to learn about the death of my best friend Cam. I found myself at a loss for words. It’s taken me awhile to be able to write here because of the extreme sadness and pain processing the passing of my dear friend.
Looking back at so many memories and experiences that we have had together. We automatically clicked and started hanging out in grade 9 at MDHS. Having the same birthday was the start of our bond. Our friendship evolved past high school to work at YD. We made new friends, memories, and experiences at work, truly wonderful. I’ll never forget the trips we took. Scuba diving in Mexico, road tripping to Florida twice. I also spent countless hours at Cam’s parents' house playing video games, talking, and watching movies. A great family, I always felt welcome and part of the family. Cam’s jokes made everyone laugh and his smile lit up the room. I saw Cam change from a kid into a loving devoted family man, father of two wonderful kids, Connor and Emma. We always spoke of how happy and proud he was of his family. My friend will always be in my heart and thoughts. I will cherish the memories I have of Cam forever.
The Najdovski family send our deepest condolences to the Lucas and Beattie family.
To Cam, my friend I lost to soon, I was lucky and blessed to have your friendship.
I will miss you so much.
Steve
To the entire Lucas family, we are thinking of you!
I worked with Cam at The Linkage Group and have never connected with someone so quickly as I did him. He was my laughing buddy (to the annoyance of our co-workers) and I will miss him. The world has lost a great one!
Deepest condolences,
Laura Rawlinson and family
