My heart felt condolences goes out to Bill's family. I have very fond memories of Bill. I remember the chats we use to have. I know about his athletic exploits and his ventures into the world of art. He was also very proud of being a second generation public service and having the honour of sharing his father's locker.
I will certainly miss him, he was a great guy!!!
Sincerely,
Gene Grant

It is with great sadness to hear of Bills passing- Years ago when we first started working together, people used to think we were related. We both had the same hairdo~ but I had a bow in mine...and it became a joke..We may not have been related but over the years-we do become like family~work buddies~our work family...Either you would work together as a group or if you were a smoker you had the advantage of catching up on all the latest gossip and news during breaks.and there are many of stories to be told~
Some days it would simply be a Good Morning ,have a good night or see you tomorrow..The last few years have had its ups and downs-but our work buddies are always in our thoughts..I for one am grateful that Bill has touched my Life~and I Thank You
Bill Read for your part in my Journey !
Wishing Your Loved ones~Comfort and courage to face the days ahead~ and beautiful memories to forever hold in their Hearts...

Bill, you were a wonderful, caring Brother-in-law. I know how much you loved Cathy, Sarah, Jessica, Nathan and your grand nephews, Oliver and Benjamin. I only wish we had more time together. We will all miss you. You loved your job at the court and your coworkers loved you. They will miss you too. I know your dad and mom, Chuck and Dorothy will greet you with open arms and be comforting you in Heaven. Rest in Peace Billy !
