Mom, as mothers we are always putting our families first. Always wishing we could do more or faulting ourselves for not doing enough. I want you to know all you did never went unnoticed. It's that down home tender loving care that shaped me the most. You showed us how to open our hearts to others in need and to love even those we didn't know. Childhood memories like running through crisp white sheets on the chlothesline to rolling in the banks of snow in our snowsuits I'll never forget. Seasons helped shape our lives and you made sure we enjoyed each and everyone those winter accessories you knit, like socks and mittens ensured we were never cold. Then there were the season goodies like jams, pickles and the weekly homemade bread on Saturday nights. They were barely out of the oven and we were into them. Sliced and smothered with butter. You shaped and moulded us into the best people we could ask to be. Most of who I am today has much to do with what you gave to me, thank you for each and every day. Love Lisa
I met Mrs. Mary Mahler in the late 1980s, and as far back as I can remember I always felt very welcomed by her. I felt the sense of motherly caring from her which was described by her children today. I remember fondly the story that Ron mentioned of the Christmas tree and the ginsu knife. She also reminded me of it with a smile every time she saw me. It actually wasn't too long before her passing that she crossed my mind and I wondered how she was doing. She was in my eyes a very sweet woman and will be missed.

Your mother blessed so many people with her thoughtfulness and kindness. I pray that you find comfort in your memories of her, and the knowledge that others are missing her too.
