Dear Grandma,
I am so sorry for Grandpa’s passing, but I know he is not alone. As Grandpa passed only three days after my dad Mike, I know they are together in heaven enjoying each other’s company. Grandpa adored you and always shared stories with us about how he had it all, the most beautiful wife, three wonderful children, he treasured us five grandchildren and loved his great- grandchildren. He was a wonderful Grandfather, the best Grandpa a girl could ask for. I have the most beautiful memories of Grandpa and I am so very blessed to have had him in my life. My children, his great-grandchildren adored their Papa and looked forward to seeing him as they were always interested in what Papa would do next, whether it would be a song or dance or a sweet sit and a hug. My husband Dave loved Grandpa too, as he was always ready with a hug and a joke to make you smile. He was the best and everyone who met him just loved him. He taught me to always see the good in others, to take notice and interest of others and to always be positive no matter what life throws at you. He will be greatly missed by all.
Lots of Love,
Karen, Dave, Isabella and Michele

Dad
We did not want to see you go but could see that your pain and suffering could not be healed here on earth.
We take comfort in the knowledge you are with God, your parents/grandparents/siblings/son-in-law and friends that have gone before you.
By example you have taught all of us bravery, strength ,compassion, kindness , forgiveness and so much more. These "tools" will serve us well as we continue here on earth.
We were blessed to have had you.
We will miss you forever.

A man of infinite jokes, who kicked the butts of everything from A-Z; poverty, cancer, war. You lived an awesome life Papa, and you’ve served as one of our greatest inspirations. We’re excited for you to watch over us as we continue on through our lives without you.
Grandma, mom, Aunt Annette, Uncle Kevin, and the rest of the family: we may have lost an incredible man, but he will forever watch over us and have our backs from above.
With love, Nicholas and Samantha

Moving to Markham the first family to toss out the welcome mat was Pat and Ruth Blaney!! Pat taught me to water ski on one of the many trips to the family cottage I was lucky enough to be invited to. Snowmobile rides around the neighborhood and across the frozen lake at the cottage brought a smile to my face then and even now as I write this condolence. Outdoor adventures with Pat, Kevin, myself and my father are a reminder of simple happy times. My condolences to the Blaney family during these difficult times.

To see the picture of Pat, with Ruth by his side, as always, brings back such happy memories of our families' lives in the village, then town of Markham. We are all just so sorry for your loss of Pat and that of Annette's Michael too. Please accept our most sincere sympathy.

Mom, You and Dad gave the 3 of us such a great family life. You both worked so hard for us. You set an example of how to live the marriage vows of for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health until death due us part. I will forever be grateful to you both for the example you set, the work values you have shown, the strength you passed on to us and the love & care you have given us over the years. My children and grandchildren just adore you both. May Dad rest in peace knowing that we will take care of you for him. Love and Hugs Annette
