Obituary of H. W.
After bravely facing his illness, Heinz, our beloved husband, dad and Opa passed away at home with family by his side.
Heinz leaves behind his wife Milla of 60 years, his children Monika (Bernie), Andreas (Theresa), Helga (Tom) and predeceased by Bernhard (Irene). His 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sisters, Thea, Ille, Hanni, brother Siegfried and predeceased by Werner.
Life was not always easy, but Heinz made the best of everything that he had. Family was always very important to him. He worked hard to keep close contact with all members of his family and many friends. Their home and property provided an opportunity to do that. The door was always open.
The St. Patrick's German Parish and Kolping were very important to Heinz. Many lifelong friendships were formed here, including meeting, and marrying his wife Milla.
Not one to shy away from a challenge, he was a self-taught Jack of all trades, Mr. Fix-it and extreme DIY-er. He was an avid cyclist and soccer player and loved music. He will be remembered for all these things and more, but most of all for his generosity, honesty and devotion to God and family.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Share Life would be greatly appreciated.
