Danuta dearest. I'm still shocked and can't believe that you're gone. I think of you all the time. You were my special friend for over twenty five years. I considered you more like a sister, so kind, helpful and forgiving. Just a loving person that would never hurt a fly.
Although we didn't have the time to get together too often when we did, we always had a great time. I can still see you laughing at my Italian expressions.I will miss you so much.....Rest in peace my dear friend Danuta.
Keith,Joshua,Jessica, Becky and sweet Liam. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss and please be strong.Gina Peghin

I'm sure no words now can comfort your aching hearts at this time, but, I wanted you to know we share in your loss.
Through my son James' and Josh's friendship spanning 24 years, Danuta and Keith took James into your home during our family's rough times..like a second family which was such a selfless act on both your parts. This just exemplifies the love Danuta's heart expanded to all. Heaven is where she is and just a memory away in your hearts.

My dear friend Dunka,
How will we all go on without you? You brought such joy and sunshine into the world. I will always remember your wonderful laugh and your beautiful smile.
Anyone blessed to be your friend knew unconditional love and acceptance. I will always cherish our friendship. My children also are so blessed to have known your love and care for them. We all have so many sweet memories of the happy times we spent together. When we took our kids to the park or the beach for the day, weekend trips with the whole gang to Ron’s family cottage; or just getting together on Friday night to make homemade pizza and watch the kids play together. All of these precious memories will live on in our hearts forever.
When my family moved out west, you and I had to make do with phone chats; marathon 2 hours chats when we would trip down memory lane and have a good laugh, and share new stories of how are children are doing and the joy of being grandmothers.
I still speak to you my dear friend, each day in my heart.
I know you’re in Heaven now, sweet Dunka. Take my love with you and rest in peace forever.

To my dear sister Danuta
It is as if time has stopped without you in my world. I will forever remember your smiling face, your generous, joyful, kind heart my dearest sister and friend.
The love you showed and shared with your family, friends, neighbours and everyone you met was exemplary.
You were a wonderful, loving ever caring wife, mother, sister aunt, great aunt and friend. Your family always came first and was most important to you.
I feel that I have lost a rare and precious sister and friend, I have lost a piece of my heart.
An excerpt from a letter by Cassandra Austin on the death of her sister Jane Austin gives a glimpse of how I ache from your loss.
SUCH A SISTER, SUCH A FRIEND
I have lost treasure
such a sister, such a friend
as never can have surpassed.
She was the sun of my life, the gilder of every pleasure,
the soother of every sorrow,
I had not a thought concealed from her,
and it is as if I had lost a part of myself.

A tribute to Dunka .........
I met Dunka when I first went out with her brother Josh and we clicked immediately
Over the past 40 plus years we grew very close and we saw her virtually every year when she came over to see her parents. Nusia and Dunka used to stay with us when Maria went into a home and I can remember with such fondness the laughs and fun we used to have.
Her loss has been such a tragic shock to all her family in England and we are still struggling to come to terms with it. It is has been made particularly worse by the fact that none of us can go and comfort our family in Canada.
We all will never forget her. She was one of the kindest, gentle people I know and she loved her family unconditionally. She loved to get pictures of her nieces and nephews and all their off spring and we communicated on social media most weeks.
We would like to send tribute to her life with this poem
A sister is someone who loves you from the heart
No matter how much you argue
You cannot be drawn apart
She is a joy that cannot be taken away
Once she is in your life she is there to stay
And though you've walked through Heaven's gate
We'll never be far apart
For every time we think of you
You're right there in our hearts
There are no words to say how much we will miss her but one thing is for sure we will never ever forget her and she will live on in our memories for ever.
Rest in eternal peace our lovely Dunka xxxxx
With all our love her sister in law Nicky, her brother Josh, Katy Tom Becky Mia and Iris xxx

Aunty Dunka....
Don’t think of her as gone away
Her journeys just begun,
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
That we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away.
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And she was loved so much.
We will always have the fondest memories and they will stay in our hearts forever.
All our love
Lloyd, Anneka, Ethan, Connor and Edie xxx
