My sincere condolences to the Family of my cousin Edwin. have such fond memories of the times that our two families spent together especially in the summer. My mother Dichranouhie and my father Yeprem and my sister Rosalie Nevart and I (Elsie Zevart) would pack up in Uncle Katchazoun's Van with Edwin and Laura and off we went. Auntie Anoush and my Mom would make loads of food...some Canadian and some Armenian. We would have a fire and have the most delicious shish kebabs.
Then we would play games and generally have a lovely family Sunday afternoon.
Many years later, after marriage and 2 beautiful daughters, Pat (Edwin's ex wife) and I became friends. We had many happy times together with my 2 daughters Catherine Anoush and Jennifer Zevart and Pat's beautiful 2 daughters Lynne and Kimberley. For a couple of summers we would take our children to Pape recreation Centre for swimming lessons. Later we would have coffee alternating at each others houses while the girls played.
Such fond memories.I can remember it like yesterday.
Brock and I visited Edwin at Sunset a few times and we always had a good and happy visit.
We are holding Edwin and his family (including my cousin Laura (Edwin's sister) in our thoughts and prayers.
