Dear Alan, Sandi, Doug, Linda, Leslie and families,
My heart is with all of you as you go through grieving the loss of your mum.
Auntie Jo was always there in my life and I will miss her and always think of her fondly.
She was there for me almost daily when I was very young and in my early grades at Hagerman Public School.
She always welcomed me and cared for me like one of her own when I was there before school, during the lunch hour and sometimes after school. I remember sitting altogether at the kitchen table and then leaping up and rushing back to school when we heard the big iron school bell ringing.
In later years she was there for me as an inspiring model of a family matriarch totally devoted to her large family.
She was loving, kind, gentle, strong, positive and very present.
I always felt that there was something very noble about Auntie Jo.
She was a very dear friend to my mum throughout their long lives together as sisters-in-law and my mum will miss her very much.
I will always remember her gentle smile and lovely soft voice.
With love to you all and with much gratitude for Auntie Jo's presence in my life,
Patti

My deepest sympathy and on behalf of my family on the death of your dear Jo. Frank and Jo were friends of my mum and dad, Theda and Grant Eckert, also both deceased. I remember my dad talking about your folks (they probably played bridge together) and we’d read the cards and letters which came at Christmastime. So I was saddened when I saw the notice in the weekend paper. God bless you all. Keeping you in my prayers. May she Rest In Peace now with her beloved Frank.

We are very lucky to have had such a wonderful Grandmother. She was kind, intelligent, and always showed such a genuine interest in our lives. Even after going for while without speaking we would always pick up right where we left off, and she would always remember all the details . We found this remarkable given the number of grandchildren she had and really speaks to the kind of person she was. We had some very nice chats in the last few months for which we are grateful. We will always remember you fondly Grandma, you will be missed.

Nina Jo was my dad's first cousin, and I believe was named after my grandmother (Nina Bateman Sinclair). We met up from time to time over the years, and I was always happy to see her and share our family connection. My deepest condolences to the family.

I am so sad to see such a wonderful person leave this world. I find peace in that fact she can rejoin her life long love Frank (Grandpa). Grandma, you taught me so much; most of all kindness. You always inspired the people around you and shared unmeasurable love! I think fondly on all the moments we shared. I have so many beautiful memories of our time together. Many in the kitchen surrounded by loved ones. I loved spending Christmas together here or there. You always made them extra special. Our cruise to Alaska was an experience I will never forget. I will hold my love for you close to my heart forever. Goodbye Grandma until we meet again.

Our deepest condolences on the loss of your Mom, Grandmother & Great Grandmother. I remember Nina & Frank as long as I remember anything. As a young person, I remember babysitting Alan & Sandy for them. May their memories be a blessing to you.
