Dear Tony and family.
I was very shocked and saddened to read that Rita passed away.
I have known Rita for over 50 years. She and I both worked for the American Consulate General in Karachi, Pakistan.
I came to Canada in 1971 and we always kept in touch. Whenever I visited she always kept me for lunch or dinner and if it got late she made sure that Tony reached me home even though they were residing in Scarborough and I was living in the downtown core and this is before Tony had a car. That’s the kind of person Rita was a caring person.
When they left Amica I lost touch as no one knew where they had gone to. I called Amica several times and they did not have the courtesy to inform me that they no longer resided there.
I will no longer speak to my friend Rita but she will always be in my heart. May God grant her eternal peace and may He give you all the strength to bear this loss.
My deepest condolences,
Ramona Fernandes

Our deepest condolences to your family. In Karachi, we were neighbours and my mum, Esmeralda Wallis always kept in touch even when we were all in Toronto, Canada. They spoke about people they knew back home and about their children. My mum will surely miss her and so will we miss her smile and cheerful disposition.
May her soul rest in Peace.
Much love,

My Auntie Martha holds a Special Place in my Heart.
It is hard to believe that the angels have taken you home. You are a beautiful flower plucked from the flower bed to be in the presence of our maker. Sweet memories fill me anytime I remember the good advice you found pleasure in sharing with me and all the wonderful times we've shared together. They will forever be cherished. Your beautiful smile lifted our hearts anytime you were around. The glow in your eyes always sent encouragement to all. You were a role model, and now we can proudly say that you left footprints in the sands of time.
We have lost a precious jewel!
You left a mark and nothing will ever erase that. It is an indelible imprint in our hearts.
You were a gem and will remain to be cherished always.
Surely auntie, our love for you will forever remain.
Your nephew,
Kevin
Our deepest condolences go out to uncle Tony, Lorraine, Audrey, Alex and families and to all extended family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
May Auntie Martha's Soul Rest In Peace.
Much love and God bless.

My sincere condolences to you all. I have fond memories of my summer holidays in Canada with you all. Aunty Martha was our Canada Mum when we visited on our own. Uncle Tony, Lorraine, Audrey and Alex :
Just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you at this time and I am sorry for your loss. Wishing you strength and peace at this time. May you take comfort in family and friends that surround you.
There is no one in this world like a mother. A mother is with us always, first in her lifetime, then forever in your memory. Mothers provide a shoulder to cry on and are an infinite wealth of advice. A mother’s love is unconditional and losing someone like that is never easy. Although they could be a royal pain at times too! But the memories live on forever.
Also, please inform Uncle Tony that from PECHS, Society in Karachi, Uncle Mahmood & family as well your old landlord Lt. Rehan were all very sad to learn about the passing of Martha and asked me to convey their sympathy and condolences.
Hoping you and your family is staying safe and healthy.
Keeping your mom in my prayers.
With deepest sympathy
your cousin.
Blaise.
