Obituary of Robert James Sutherland

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Robert's passing on Friday, June 12, 2020. Predeceased by his wife, Lael Isobel. Beloved brother of Ian (Dianne) and sisters, Silvia and Valerie (Terry Belcham). Proud uncle of Dale, Andrea, Derrick, Justin and Brittany.

Robert was a gifted musician, obtaining his Bachelor of Music at the University of Calgary. His teaching career was cut short by a tragic accident that left him permanently disabled. His later years were spent under the care of the many personal support workers at Bethany Lodge to which the family extends its gratitude. Special thanks also go to the doctors and nurses at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their compassion and care.
