I have so many fond memories of your mother, Lorna. Growing up in the valley, I spent many years listening to her funny stories, eating her delicious chocolate chip cookies and admiring her spunk, cheerfulness and vitality.
I always admired how she was different (in a good way) from all the other mothers I knew. She wore her turquoise and silver jewelry and comfortable clothes with a style that was all her own.
Your family home was always a safe haven for me because of the kindness of your mom.
Thinking of you all as you cherish memories of your mother and grieve her loss.
A toast of scotch to Lorna, who got such pleasure out of life.
