To our family Dorothy was Aunt Dorothy, the other half of Uncle Vern, beloved brother of my late mother, Katherine Johnston Dee. Our family has very fond memories of times getting together growing up, initially visiting Dorothy, Vern and family in Don Mills, then at Niagara-on-the-lake for many years. We remember when the whole Johnston clan came together at Niagara for a weekend to learn about the Johnston heritage and legacy many years ago. Later years we remember our families getting together in Markham when they moved to a smaller apartment. Us cousins have grown families and grandchildren of our own, and as we move up in the chain of life, we cherish and remember those who came before us. Aunt Dorothy was always ready with a quick smile, and laugh and wanted to hear all the latest. She will be sadly missed by the Dee family. Fondly, Gary Dee, Sandra & Fred Webb and families.

Nana - words can't even describe how much I miss you and wish I could have given you one last hug goodbye. The kids have shared so many wonderful memories with me over the last few days (like singing Despacito in the lobby, making Easter crafts, eating Kit Kats together in the back garden), memories that just added to the huge collection I already have with you growing up. We are so saddened that we don't have a place to visit you now, but we will continue to talk to you and share our latest news and accomplishments all the time. We've toasted you with Kit Kat's the last couple of nights. We love you so much! Karen, Joe, Jacob & Mia.
