Prayers at Sunday Mass for the late Marie Christine Bacalocos Mandegarian
The Parish Community of Saint Maria Goretti, 717 Kennedy Road, extends our condolences and assurance of prayer to the family of Christine Mandegarian.
The many caregivers and long term care home staff employees in this Parish are well aware of the dedication and commitment that is ordinarily required in their work, and especially at this time of the Covid 19 pandemic, of the extraordinary sacrifice each one must make personally to ensure that their vital service continues.
Christine is being remembered in the Sunday Intercessions at all our Masses. While the Church is closed to public attendance, the Priests continue to offer the Masses privately, and the prayer intentions are all accessible on line through the links to the Bulletins and Intercessions: stmariagoretti.archtoronto.org
May God guide and protect us in the Divine Mercy extended to us through Jesus Christ.

MESSAGE OF SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY OF THE LATE MARIE CHRISTINE BACALOCOS MANDEGARIAN
The Officers and Staff of the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto and the personnel of its attached Philippine Government agencies join the Filipino-Canadian Community in mourning the passing of Ms. MARIE CHRISTINE BACALOCOS MANDEGARIAN and in extending our heartfelt sympathies to the Mandegarian Family.
Ms. Mandegarian will be remembered for her loyalty and long years of dedicated work of providing assistance and care to senior members of Canadian society. While she adapted well to her second home Canada, she continued link to her Filipino roots by constantly communicating during her lifetime with her fellow Filipinos in Ilonggo, the local dialect of her hometown in central Philippines.
We salute and commend our kababayans like Ms. Mandegarian who are among the brave frontliners in the fight against the perilous effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Marie Christine and her co-frontliners never wavered in their commitment to serve, even dispensing personal safety so that others may be spared of the effects of the virus.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mandegarian Family, especially their young children.
