Obituary of Juan De La Pena

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Juan Peping De La Pena on April 8, 2020 at the age of 94. He loved his family and demonstrated this by imparting his wisdom, compassion, hard work ethic, and discipline, on those close to him. Together with his cherished wife of 67 years, Augueda, he had 5 children in Nasiguid, Negros Oriental, Philippines. They had an everlasting love. Juan Peping will be missed and lovingly remembered forever by his children: Godofreda, Venerando (Edilberta), Thomas (Leny), Patricia (Pablito), Monie (Genaline), Victoria (Lee Van), along with his many adoring grandchildren: Dana (Karl), Venerando (Shiella), Ina (Jason), Warren (Ariahna), Jessica (Mark Kavin), Kyle, Mark Anthony, Christine, Tammy-Marie, Giselle, Tommy John, John Rudolph, Lee Anne, and Maria, and his great-grandchildren: Jean Danielle, Kenzie Merielle, and Johan Peter. Juan Peping was our wonderful family patriarch, and he will be deeply missed. May God rest his soul in peace and may He give us the strength to bear the sudden loss of such a wonderful man. In light of the current situation, a private service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020. A celebration of Juan Peping's life will be arranged at a later date.
