I met Bill many years ago when I was working at a local bank. He noticed that I bit my nails, and brought me some artificial nails that Edna got from work. Shhhhh, don't tell anyone at ponds. We found out later that he and my family had known each other for years. Any time I saw Bill, he was dressed in coveralls, a ball cap, and a big smile. I hadn't seen him in years until 2011. I was working at Peter's Fine Dining. I went to clear the plates from a table. I was reaching for a plate, and this nice gentleman appeared to slide his plate towards me. Nope! He pulled it further from my reach! I was stunned that someone would actually do that. But as soon as I saw that smile and the mischievous look in those eyes, I knew it was Bill. He had know idea who I was, he was just being Bill. I will never forget the look on his face or on Edna's when my jaw dropped and I pointed and said "You're Bill Brown!"
