Obituary of Thomas Samual Spanton

6/15/1935 - 3/28/2020

Soulmate and beloved husband of Jennifer, loving father of Elizabeth (Paul), Thomas (Daisy), David (Barb), Laura (Mike), and Michael (Robyn), step father of Mike (Marlene), and Susan.

Big brother to Charles (Lil), Margaret, and Stephen (Betty), brother-in-law of Nancy,  Brenda,  Margaret, and Susan.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Anne, and wife Isabelle. 

He will be missed by his grandchildren, Neil, Matthew, Braeden, Nicholas, Allison, Kevin, Charls, Kerry, Caitlyn, Jessica, Stephanie  and all of his great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Toms greatest joy was playing cards, he was always up for a game with anyone visiting!  It was not uncommon to find him playing cards at the dining room table with kids, grandkids, and great grandkids during family visits.  Those times will be missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Markham District Veterans Association at a later date when we are once again able to all gather together.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
