We met Mike Bona and George when our son Dunika started elementary school in Markham with George. Although we were just neighbors,we became close friends when the two boys joined soccer teams in school, Markham soccer club and Unionville Soccer club. We shared many wonderful memories with Mike Bonna and George when we traveled with the soccer teams in Canada, USA and Internationally. The friendship grew stronger as Dunika and George attended McMaster University and continued their friendship into adulthood.
We remember Mike as a dear friend who was warm, funny, always cheerful even in his sickness. During our times together he shared many adventurous stories of his life in Macedonia and Canada. Last year he achieved one of his dreams by writing his memoirs and anyone who reads this book will know what a fantastic life Mike lead with Bona, George.and lately Daniela
Rest in Peace Mike. We will truly miss you!
