First and foremost, I want to extend my sincere condolences to you, Shari and Jocelyn. I hope you both feel surrounded by much love. I had the privilege of spending time with Victor over the last seven years and can honestly say that he was not only a colleague but, my friend. We spent time working together; enjoying lunches; and talking about sports, cars and our families. Victor spoke proudly of his wife and daughter, and cherished his time with them. In his spare time, I know how much he enjoyed playing soccer, going to TFC games, as well as supporting his daughter in her activites/hobbies- such as her photographic endeavours. He also enjoyed his BMW, which I had the pleasure of driving in. I know that it is not uncommon for people to put off living their dreams but, we all know that is not how Victor lived. He lived life to the fullest, performed his best at all times and was a true gentleman to the core. You will be missed Victor Mendham... till we all meet again.

My sincere condolences to Vic's family.
I played soccer with Vic in Markham for a number of years - both as a teammate and an opponent. Vic was a great guy to be around. He brought people together, and always made the games more fun to be a part of.

Victor, I can't tell you how sad I feel to see this news. Although it is decades since we met, I was a good school friend of your late step-father Jay and have very warm memories of the time when we got to see you and your brother quite regularly. You were a very friendly, nice, courteous little boy and I always thought your family was so lucky to have you.
I just lost my father six days ago. But he had had a full long life. This seems so terribly soon, Vic. I wish you all peace and will remember you with great fondness.

Vic I still can't believe you're gone. It wasn't supposed to end this way. You were supposed to get your new liver, you were supposed to be getting ready to take the 5 Series out for the spring and you were supposed to be taking your seat at BMO field, where we could complain together about how bad the reffing was in the MLS. Sadly it looks like someone had other plans, greater plans I'm sure.
My sincere and deepest condolences to your family and those who were lucky enough to call you a friend.
We lost a good one.
Rest in peace my friend.

Hello, I am saddened to hear the news of Victor’s passing. We worked together 30 years ago. He was always a class act even at our young (at the time) age. Sending you strength and love at this time. xox

There was a lingering chance to save Vic's life. It's unfortunate that, when he was desperately looking for help to find a donor, apparently our busy lives held us back from engaging more actively to help him.
Sincere condolences to the family. Rest in peace, Vic.

I worked with Vic for over 10 years. He was always upbeat and had a great story to tell, whether it was his past career as a crane operator or his automobile adventures. As the man who ran the 64/9 pool - he may not have won the OLG lottery, but I know he has touched so many peoples lives, which in my books, is a true winner. He left us too soon. My sincerest condolences to Vic's family. May he rest in peace.

Breaks my heart to hear of Vic's passing.
He was always able it lift others with his unique perspective or just plain ole jokes.
I'll miss our conversations about BMWs and our confusion as to why German engineering like plastic for important parts!
I'll always be grateful for the TFC tickets he gave me and my 2 kiddos... they loved the game and the after party. And I got great family memory.
Rest In Power Vic... we'll drink to your awesomeness soon.
