To the Fintelman family,
Our sincere condolences to all. Both Gary and I have remembrances of, and still an attachment to, Dirk's sister Jane and brother-in-law Ross. Gary remembers the fun at SS # 12 Bethesda public school and I at Uxbridge H.S. This is a sad time for your family, although your friends and faith shall guide you through.
Wishing you peace to bring comfort and the courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.

Dear Verna and Family,
I'm so sorry that you, Verna, and your family have this sad time to go through. Dick will have left a big empty place in your family. Knowing where he is now, makes a big difference though, doesn't it? I remember when your family and ours were both going to church at Dickson Hill.. Sometimes the Junior WMS met at your home on the Fourth of Uxbridge. We were the right age for that group then. I think our two oldest boys, Paul and Harold, are about the same age as your Albert and Rick. I think Lois is older than John so they likely weren't in the same class at Uxbridge High School.. Norman, our youngest is maybe older than Deborah. He was born in 1964. It's a long time since I last saw you and Dick but it was always niice if we happened to meeet somewhere to have little visit.
I hope you and your family are all keeping well.
I'd like to be able to come to Markham for Dick's funeral tomorrow but I have had a very painful leg for the last week. It's hard to walk and I can't tell if I would be able to walk as far as I .might need to. I will be thinking of you.
Love and prayers,
Ivy.

I just wanted to share my condolences and that I'm thinking of everyone during this sad time. Having lost my own dad 7 years ago, to the same illness, I can empathize greatly. Rememerber the great times.
