Steve and I have known Nancy for a very long time.
In fact most of my life as Harold was my Dad’s lawyer and Nancy kept things in order at the law office.
Nancy and Harold both accompanied Steve to Egypt on one of his many trips there years ago. Nancy and my Mum Norah, became good friends at Bliss, our yearly girls weekend gatherings at Beaver House.
Nancy and Norah May have been the matriarchs of Bliss but they had no trouble keeping up with the group and fitting in with all of us younger gals. There was much silliness and laughter on those weekends and Nancy and Norah were often the instigators of the shenanigans and most of the rude jokes. We all loved our time together with the two Mums.
Norah passed away last March and I sure hope that she and Nancy are together now having a rousing game of scrabble and a nice cup of tea and not causing too much of an uproar where ever they are.
I know that we will miss them always but I’m thankful for all the wisdom and many wonderful memories they left us with. I’m so glad Nancy was in my life.
Biggest hugs to all. Chris

Thinking of all of you at this time. What a beautiful Celebration of Life. Nancy was a warm, classy and caring lady. When I think of Nancy I think of her very calm and relaxed voice. My thoughts are with you Leslie and your entire family. Love Marguerite xx

Dear Kimberley Family,
I wanted to be there yesterday with you to celebrate Nancy's life, sadly we could not attend. Happily, my family was well represented. My memories are summers on Gull Lake and being known at your cottage as "Big Al". Your mother had a gentle grace about her and I was always welcome. It is never easy to say goodbye, even after a good long life. As you know, my father passed away just days after Nancy. I wish we had we known that James and Nancy were both at Markham Stouffville Hospital at the same time before each passed.
Please accept our most sincere condolences for your loss.
Love,
Alan, Jill, Alan TJ, Samantha, & Steven Nelson

Hi Kimberley Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Nancy. Although I had not seen Nancy in many years, I cannot help to smile and think of the family celebrations that took place at your Scarborougb home. As a youngster I loved running around in the house with my cousins and being 'amongst the adult's' and being allowed to stay up late! What a treat. The memories at Gull Lake at the same young age are embedded in my memories always, as happy & care-free times, spent with so many cousins and the great outdoors.
May you celebrate Nancy, your mother, today with fond memories and so much love. She was a beautiful lady with a most gracious soul!
My love always,
Annie (nee:Walker), Rusty & Tessa Smith

Growing up with the Kimberley kids on Hill Crescent brings back so many wonderful memories...I close my eyes and can see Nancy or Mrs Kimberley as we respectfully called her, her beautiful white hair, gentle ways. She took time to chat with you taking an interest in whatever we had to say. The smell of Oatmeal cookies in the kitchen and her French soaps by the sinks. Most of all I remember quietly going into her studio at the bottom of the kitchen stairs and standing beside her mesmerized while she painted. She introduced me to a lifelong love of painting that I will always treasure. Thank you Mrs. Kimberley, you were a beautiful influence and touched so many lives. Chris (Cussion) Mullett

To the family of Nancy Kimberley, our sincerest sympathy.
Nancy was a lovely person of many talents.
She was a voracious reader and became the first user of our Home Reader program at Swan Lake Village as well as an honourary member of the service. Choosing books and talking with her about them was great fun.

Dear Kimberley Family;
Please accept my family’s condolences on the passing of Nancy, my godmother. I will always have fond memories of the time shared on Gull Lake, and family gatherings at the house in the Scarborough Bluff’s. I will remember the time spent when I was a young child posing for Nancy as she painted my portrait, with instructions to keep movements and fidgeting to a minimum. It felt like eternity for a young child, but in hindsight, I am sure it was only a few hours. It was an honor to have known Nancy and we will miss her. I am sorry we are unable to attend her ceremony.
