Our thoughts and prayers are with Nancy, John and the girls on this very somber occasion. I want to thank Nancy and John for having a wonderful son who came into our lives through Emma. Matt became instant family from the get go. His knowledge of politics and sports made him an instant hit with Frank and I. We were lucky to have Matt live with our family while he studied at Trent along with Emma. There love for each other was witnessed every day around the dinner table. My heart breaks for the loss of their love but comforted by the loving fact we had Matt in our lives to enjoy during his young life Matt will forever be in our hearts and minds. God bless you Matt . I am more of a stranger to him in my years of highschool, but even from a perspective that is so far away, I recall he is one of those people that had me relieved to be in the room with in social situations. He is very approachable and talking to him made me feel less awkward in crowds of people I wasn't familiar with. No memory of him comes to me without his smile, if more people took on such traits as his, I reckon people would be more comfortable around eachother. I'm sure those that were touched by his spirit can carry it on to others in thier own lives.
