I was Ted's neighbour he never failed to say hello to me everyday. He was the best neighbor, always nice to have a chat after work with him or help out with his driveway in the winter. I'll miss him alot

I am so very sad for Mike and Michelle, the McDonald boys, Scott and the rest of the motox gang. He was such a huge part of their lives and will forever be missed. I spent many hours by his side watching the guys and girls rip around Joel’s track and we’d never run out of things to talk about. He was A very special person to so many and for me it was his impressive knowledge of road cycling. He would spend so much time at the track talking with me about the Tour de France and who was in the “yellow” and the tactics of the race teams. Early in the season, we’d talk about the Giro and Flanders and the prestigious Paris Roubaix. He really inspires me to keep riding and I will forever cherish my memories of him.

Ted has been a great part of our lives. From the first time I met Ted 37 years ago, Ted always had I kind and generous heart. I am truly thankful for all the time I got to spend with Ted from the early days riding our dirt bikes together, going to all those races over the years, sharing good food together, and most of all just being in Ted's company. Ted was one of a kind who we loved very much. Ted was like a dad to me (to all of us), a grandfather (Uncle Ted) to my girls who often referred to Ted as their best friend as they dragged him over to watch "Frozen" for the 20th time. There was many times I would come home or I would be away traveling and Ted would be at my house having dinner with my wife Cathy and my girls, Tyler and Tanner. Ted you were something way more than just a special friend and we will all miss you greatly!

Ted will be sadly missed. His witty sense of humour always brought smiles to everyone around him. His easy going character, calm demeanor always made him very approachable and easy to talk to.
He was the first guy I'd think of for engineering advice, which was logical, practical and well thought out. I have fond memories of Ted loading my 250CZ into his van and Marni, Ted and I heading out to Ganaraska forest trail riding.
It was a true pleasure to have known him. My deepest condolences.

Ted was the Father that I never had, and one of my best friends. He was a Grandfather to my girls Krista and Jessica, known as "Uncle Ted"
He was always so thoughtful and caring, enjoyed his friends and family, especially when there was food involved!
I always valued Teds opinion, so reasonable, practical and responsible, and wish I could have absorbed more of his knowledge, intelligent beyond my comprehension.
I will miss Ted on our MX vacations, at the track, family gatherings, bicycle rides, our morning breakfasts and dinners out.
I miss you Ted, thank you for being a big part of my life

Ted Roberts was my mentor and taught me how to be a Professional Engineer. I'll never forget sitting in Ted's office as he taught me the principles of engineering and critical thinking. I am forever grateful for Ted taking the time to teach me and he will be sorely missed.
