As someone who chose the Catholic faith, Uncle Tom lived his faith daily through commitment and personal kindnesses.
Uncle Tom was wonderful to my siblings and I growing up, he gave us the gift of himself. From him, we learned about nature and the importance of the natural environment and to know and appreciate all God’s creatures.
The many beautiful family photos we have are a tribute to Uncle Tom’s photography skills, and the love he shared.
Uncle Tom hated wearing ties, however what a gentleman he was! He had a tremendous influence on my life and for that I give thanks and sympathy to all who knew him.

Lorraine we were heartbroken to hear of Uncle Tom’s passing. Tom was in my life from day one....so many memories of trips to the creek, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Christmases, strolls in the garden on Church street, him trying to get a perfect picture of all of us catching the ball, and so many many more memories! Later in life, Pete and I were fortunate to live close to you in Newcastle and enjoyed so many wonderful breakfasts after church at the Massey House and several wonderful dinners as well. We will miss his presence in our lives but know he is happy to be at rest and home at last. God bless you Lorraine. God has Tom in his hands now. Rest In Peace Uncle Tom, you will never be forgotten by any of us in the Mihorean Family

So many wonderful memories of Dear Uncle Tom all the way through my entire life. As a child he was a gentle giant to me as he was tall and strong but yet so caring and loving. From letting me walk upside down on our living room ceiling to fun trips in his car all the way back to our creek
Uncle Tom has a profound influence on and in my life.
Lorraine you were always Tom’s Guardian angel, now he is yours.
Rest In Peace Uncle Tom
