Passed away peacefully in her home with her daughters and granddaughter by her side on December 6, 2019 in her 90th year. Loving wife of the late Joseph Assinck. Beloved mother of Patricia, Virginia and the late David. Proud Grandmother of Trever, Corey, Kristopher, Amber and Shawn. Great Grandmother to Avery, Trent, Kurtis, Travis, Lucy, Katie, Andi, Mae, Hailey and Easton. She loved life and her family and was generous and kind to many others. A visitation will be held at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Rd.), Markham on Thursday, December 12 from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:45 am. Reception to follow. Burial will follow at Stouffville Cemetery.  Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
