Obituary of Mary McClymont Kent

Mary “May” McClymont Kent, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 29, 2019. May was born July 20, 1934 in Patna, Ayrshire Scotland to her parents James and Charlotte Graham.

May was a dedicated mother first and foremost and one of the strongest and kindest women you could ever meet. She possessed a genuinely loving and trusting soul. May was always there when you needed her without reservation or hesitation. She treasured her family, and especially her loving daughters Cindy and Carol, and embraced every moment with them.  She treasured her role as Grandma to her grandsons Brendan and Nolan who she loved very much.

To all of us that loved her dearly, we will never forget her charm, wit, forgiving persona and unending love. This woman was special, and we feel privileged to have shared our lives with her.

May is survived by her daughters Cynthia Connor and Carol Kirkland, her grandsons Brendan and Nolan Connor and her son-in-law’s Grahame Connor and Martin Kirkland.

Memorial service will take place in the Chapel on December 13, 2019, at 1:30 p.m., reception following. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
